Lecture “Computational Museology” by Sarah Kenderdine

Thursday, June 4, 2026
6:30 pm

Computational museology is a framework that brings together artificial intelligence and data management, ontologies and visualization, and audience communities with the world of knowledge through embodied participation. This approach seeks to connect all forms of culture and materiality: objects, knowledge systems, representation, and participation. This lecture focuses on a series of works by the Experimental Museology Lab (eM+), which go beyond digital objects to create new types of experiences by combining museum expertise with emerging technologies.

This lecture will be simultaneously translated into French and followed by an apéritif.
